This is George McLaurin, who was the first black man to be admitted to the University of Oklahoma in 1948. Afterwards, he was forced to sit in a far corner of the classroom by his fellow white men. He kept his name on the honor list among the top 3 students in the university. https://t.co/pHdaJsvPUy
