Prior to tonight I thought, oh this is a campaign speech…after listening it clearly was not. I heard a POTUS ringing the alarm about the real threat to our nation. J6 HAPPENED. Election deniers are WINNING. This is not business as usual & we cannot afford to act like it is.

Another important point about @POTUS’s remarks - calling out the 16 senators who supported VRA extension in 2006 is key because the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act is in the spirit of & very similar the legislation folks got behind in 2006. So why not vote for it now?
