If #DCStatehood were to pass it would become the state w/ the highest percentage of Black population (47%). In fact, it'd be the ONLY state where the Black population outnumbers the white population. Senate Republicans KNOW this, and it's 100% part of the reason they oppose it.

Just a gentle reminder... Biden won because of ONLY 44,000 total votes spread across 3 states: GA, AZ & WI. If they'd gone the other way, the Electoral College would've TIED 269-269, leading to the Former Guy's 2nd term. Only 44,000. Our footing is fragile. We MUST bolster it.
