President Biden (damn I love saying that) demonstrated tonight why he is the perfect person to assume the Presidency at this moment in history - he shoots straight, is authentic, he connects w/people, he cares about America & the American people more than he cares about himself.

For 2 years I led a reading of MLK’s “Letter from a Birmingham Jail” on the floor of the Senate, the same floor recently overtaken by rioters. As we celebrate his life today hope for America has been shaken, but can be renewed by reading his words again. https://t.co/dSwxSVtQEi

Well looky here folks, his own players don’t trust @TTuberville to serve as United States Senator. In fact, they don’t even *recognize* him: a conspiratorial birther who is anti-science & doesn’t believe in climate change! He has no place in the Senate. https://t.co/PE6qz3Y4Jt

I have known Joe for 40 years and tonight’s huge in South Carolina shows his ability to bring folks together. I am so proud to count him as my friend. He’s dedicated his life to making the world better, and he truly reveres America. Joe is the leader we need. #SCPrimary2020 https://t.co/1q3btVgHOS

Today, I have the solemn responsibility to uphold my oath of #ImpartialJustice Growing up in Alabama I learned right from wrong. What the President did was more than wrong. Someone has to stand up & say so. I will fulfill my oath & vote in favor of both articles of impeachment. https://t.co/X5botsMujs

This wasn’t an easy political decision for Romney. But also, for @kyrstensinema, @Sen_JoeManchin, @DougJones. All three Democrats represent purple or red states were the vote they just cast, could end their Senate careers. I’m grateful they put Conatitution above themselves.🇺🇸

Every American knows what a trial looks like. A trial has witnesses and documents and cross examination. It is questionable whether we will see witnesses in this Senate tria. I am still hoping for #ImpartialJustice. Here’s info on that and what to expect going forward. https://t.co/GJ9xA5AU39

Regardless of what Bolton’s testimony might be, I want to hear from him and review his documents. Why wouldn’t anyone if they were committed to #ImpartialJustice ? John Bolton says he will testify in impeachment trial if Senate issues subpoena - Axios https://t.co/r0Xe47awpT
