Voices4America Post America. 8 GOP Senators voted against relief because they value their Ideology over Americans. 2 - Sasse and Inhofe- are up for re-election in November. #RememberInNovember

Did I mention that McConnell delayed the vote, first by a long weekend so he could go to a Gala honoring Justice Kavanaugh, then , with Republican Rep Gohmert's assistance, until yesterday...the Pelosi Family First Bill passed last Saturday.

And 40 Republicans voted against it in the House.

Ideologically pure.

What passed yesterday, thanks to the GOP, was a scaled down version of the Pelosi bill - scaling back some of the paid family and medical leave, but still offers two weeks of emergency sick leave to some workers.
