Amy Davidson in a recent New Yorker "Talk of the Town" column said it best, "There are 11 states where the difference between Clinton and Trump is less than the sum of likely voters who say they support either Johnson-Weld of the Libertarian Party or Jill Stein of the Green Party." This is not crying wolf. There is a real danger that Trump will be elected in 3 weeks unless we organize for the Democratic ticket.
We all have friends who tell us that they want to register a protest and vote for Gary What's Aleppo Johnson or Jill Stein, who is basically Hillary Lite. When warned that this could well result in a Trump presidency, they say, "Well we need a revolution."
That worked really well 16 years ago when Nader got 100,000 protest votes in Florida and Gore lost the state to Bush by 537 votes. What did that give America? Not revolution, just 8 years of the rich getting richer, regulations gutted, climate change derided, right wing judges appointed wholesale to the Supreme Court and Federal Courts. In other words a dismal outcome. So, if you need a revolution, please support HIllary's agenda if she is elected and ensure Bernie becomes Chair of the Senate Budget Committee and Elizabeth the Chair of the Financial Services Committee.

Thankfully, most progressives understand this already. Certainly Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren do. And so do the 400 volunteers who turned up at Democratic Headquarters on Elm Street in Manchester, NH Saturday to knock on doors.
So do the men and women we met in apartments and homes in Manchester who said they would be voting on November 8 for Hillary, for Maggie Hassan, for Carol Shea Porter (3 great women!) and for Colin Van Ostern. One man told us he had received his citizenship in 1996 and was determined to vote for Clinton because she believed in justice for people like him. Another Hillary supporter said Trump could kiss his rosy ass because of the way he treats vets.
Three more weeks to go folks. Let's get that vote out!
