Politicians aren't the only people hitting the campaign trail in the days before the Nov. 8 presidential election.

Cher is traveling to key U.S. cities over the coming week, including public stops in three Michigan towns today: Kalamazoo, East Lansing and Flint.

The events are on behalf of Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton. The level of support by Cher, demonstrated over several months, shows the celebrity is conveying an endorsment-style version of "I Got You, Babe" to the candidate who will face off against Republican Donald Trump to cap off a heated and vitriol-filled campaign season.

"It's really up to all of us to demonstrate who we are and who our country is and to stand up and be very clear about what we expect from our next president, how we want to bring our country together, where we don't want to have the kind of pitting of people one against the other, where instead we celebrate our diversity, we lift people up, and we make our country even greater," a news release from the Michigan office of Hillary for America quotes Clinton as saying. "America is great because America is good."

Cher, 70, has been known to use profanity in her presentations and Twitter attacks on Trump.

Here are details on Cher's visits in Michigan on October 31:

• 12:30 p.m. Western Michigan University Campus, Bernhard Center, North Ballroom, 1903 Western Michigan Ave., Kalamazoo.
• 3 p.m. Michigan State University Campus, MSU Union, Ballroom, 49 Abbot Road (Note: this location was changed on the morning on 10/31 from Giltner Hall, Room 146, 293 Farm Ln, East Lansing).
• 6 p.m. Flint DNC HQ Office, 3518 Robert T. Longway Blvd.

All events are open to the public, but require registration through the Hillary for Michigan campaign site.
