The nation (and the world) stare as the Bully-in-Charge does what bullies do. Never mind that this particular bully is in the White House illegitimately. He bullies to impose his will. That is what bullies do.

The other night, a friend of mine told me about his father who was mentally ill. The father, a highly successful lawyer, was diagnosed with Narcissistic Personality Disorder. It's an actual disease. Look it up.

This is not the same as your self absorbed boyfriend.

Here is what the Mayo Clinic says. Narcissistic Personality Disorder, "a mental disorder which can't be cured and requires a medical diagnosis, " in which the patients suffering have "an inflated sense of their own importance, a deep need for admiration and a lack of empathy for others. "

My friend attributes his father's success as a lawyer to the illness: "He would stand before a jury and lie, but he believed his lies. What the jurors registered was sincerity and purpose, because he believed his own lies and he was determined to impose his truth on others. He always won, regardless of facts on the other side."

As they say in the Biz, "Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, is purely coincidence." Believe that and I will tell you another tale.

Anyway, let's return to the issue at hand. Trump faces two Juries this week - one in the House of Representatives, one in the Senate:

Jury #1 - House of Representatives on Trump Care.

In case you forgot, this is a bill which will cause 24 million Americans to lose their health insurance. It also will give a 36 million dollar tax cut to the top .001% of the Americans.

The bill needs 216 votes to pass,

No Democrats in the House have said they would vote for it.

There are 237 Republicans in the House. That means no more than 21 Republicans can vote against the bill, if it is to pass.Of the 237 Republicans …

Are you represented by a Republican in the House?

Call your elected officials. Here is a list by Congressional Districts. Make sure your Reps know they will lose their next election unless they vote AGAINST Trumpcare.

If each of us makes 2-4 calls today and before the vote tomorrow, Trumpcare will fail.

Jury #2 in The Senate, on the confirmation of Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court.

In case you forgot, Gorsuch is the Trump nominee for a Lifetime SCOTUS position.

Keep this in mind.

Mitch McConnell, the Republican leader in the Senate, may be laying the groundwork to eliminate the 60 votes needed to approve a SCOTUS nominee, but for now that threshold stands. There are 52 Republican Senators.That means 8 Democrats must support Gorsuch to give him a lifelong place on the Court.

Further, as both Elizabeth Warren and Chuck Schumer remind us, Trump is under FBI investigation.

Schumer said it was "unseemly" to vote for a Supreme Court nominee while the President is under investigation and said the vote should be delayed.

Joe Scarborough and George Takei also weighed in on this. George wrote: "If Trump colluded with Russia, then his election and each and every action and appointment he has made must be declared null and void."

The GOP is trying to ignore this circumstance, as is the nominee.

Bully for him. And Bully for Trump.

Bullies win unless you stop them.

Feel free to mention that the GOP, in an unprecedented and unconstitutional action, an action by Bullies, refused to hold hearings or to vote on President Obama's nominee for the Court, Merrick Garland.

Gorsuch is trying to claim a stolen seat.
