I think the killing of Khashoggi by the Saudis was a test. Khashoggi was a permanent U.S. resident but not a citizen. @realDonaldTrump wants 2 see if they can get away w/ killing a resident journalist w/ a green card first & if successful, they will try a citizen journalist next.
