TRENDINGI know you're eager to keep up the fight, so I am sending along an update on the Women's March on Washington and other actions you can take to fuel the movement. The I Stand With Planned Parenthood national campaign has officially launched. In the weeks and months ahead, volunteers and activists will hold 300 events in 47 states and 150 cities to mobilize supporters to fight back against attacks on Planned Parenthood. Here's how you can participate:
- If you plan to attend the Women's March on Washington on January 21, register to meet up with Planned Parenthood at this page. Please read and complete the multi-step registration process very carefully, as it will provide you with specific meetup instructions depending on how you are traveling to the March.
- Please note that this link also allows you to register for an Action and Advocacy training the day after the March. While this training is geared toward our young activists, you are welcome to sign up for it if you wish.
- If you want information about a local Planned Parenthood event, visit this page to find out what's happening near you.
- If you want to take action now and/or cannot attend an event, visit this page for instructions on how to call your senators, sign petitions, and engage in the fight back on social media.
If you register for an event, you will receive details and updates about that event via email. We will be handing out Planned Parenthood rally gear at the Women's March on Washington, but can't guarantee that we'll have supplies for everyone. If you want to buy a hat, shirt, or other items to show your Planned Parenthood pride at the rally, you can do so here. We expect this merchandise to sell quickly, so act fast! Please make sure to select a shipping method that will get products to you before the March.
Thank you for standing with Planned Parenthood.
See you somewhere on January 21. Our First National Day of Resistance. #TheResistance
